Una californiana acuchilló a su hija de diecisiete años porque usaba cocaína.

Girl Talk released a new album today, titled "Feed the Animals." I will pre-emptively tell you I love it. Just acquiring the cd makes me want it, here's how it works:
You can download it at www.illegalart.net You pay what you want for the mp3's. If you spend $5 or more you get a bonus of all of the tracks linked together in one big file (it's intended to be listened to as a one continuous jam). For the generous, spending $10 or more gets you the physical CD, which will be out later.

01 "Play Your Part (Pt. 1)"
02 "Shut The Club Down"
03 "Still Here"
04 "What It's All About"
05 "Set It Off"

Encantazo

Brazillian legend Sergio Mendes released his new cd Encanto today. I will go as far to say it is great - and I have not listened to it. I mean, when you're Sergio, you eat good music for breakfast. This man helped pioneer samba-based bossa nova, and he's doing what anyone with a reportoire as impressive as his would do, he's re-working alot of his own old hits. First track on the album? Burt Bacharach's 'the look of love' which Mendes had originally transposed to bossa nova in 1967, then it became his biggest hit with Brasil `66. Don't get me wrong, there's several, great, original tracks on there as well. I'll just say that Sergio is on point.

Recommended tracks:

2) Funky Bahia
4) Odo-Ya
5) Somewhere in the Hills (feat. Natalie Cole & Till Bronner)
12) Agua de Beber

Music, Music, Music...

It couldn't get any more 'opposite ends of the spectrum' than this.

Wheezy dropped 'The Carter III' today which Vexed and I have been listening to for about a week.5 now, I strongly suggest you read about it.

And on the other end, Wolf Parade is releasing a new album in a week titled "At Mount Zoomer." I highly suggest you give it a listen if you like music. IMO it sounds Wonderful, it has an even mix of vocals between Dan Boeckner, and Spencer Krug. I mean, that is to say; half of the songs are dan on vocals, and the other half are spencer, so at least you'll like half of it, right?
