One of my favorite books growing up, directed by Spike Jonze? It's hard to overstate my level of excitement at present.

From MTV's Movies Blog: "Following reports that the movie was too intense for children, [it's] being re-edited and re-shot..."

If that's true, they better break the masses off with a true Director's Cut when DVD time comes around.

Releases 10/16. Until that time, you may only refer to me as Max.

    spike has been my favorite director for at least 6 years.
