I was recently discussing politics with someone who I previously held respect for, that is until he told me the only reason anybody was voting for Obama was because of his skin color. No, seriously... I asked my non-caucasian friend who he was voting for and when he simply pointed to his arm, the once respected personage said, and I quote: "that's the only reason anybody's voting for him"
I have a co-worker who on two occasions has heard me listening to hip-hop. On both occasions she had the audacity aks "so, you're sympathetic to the plight of the black man?"

I feel the urge to create a nursery rhyme, in order to adequately convey the coalescing constants needed to confront said conundrum:
